ABOUT LES PETITS JOUEURS
DESIGNER MARIASOLE CECCHI

A designer born by chance, Mariasole sparked the idea behind Les Petits Joueurs with a fashion experiment gone right, spreading “LOVE” across an old bag in colorful bricks.

After designing for friends and family, Mariasole moved to Sao Paulo, where within months, her bags were coveted and worn by Brazil’s most in uential actresses and models. Mariasole herself became a style icon, conquering the pages of Vogue, Elle, and Harpers Bazaar. She was also nominated Ambassador for Farfetch Brazil and became the face of several other fashion brands due to her popularity.

The exponential growth of the brand brought her back to Florence in 2013, where she teamed up with brother and Managing Director Andrea Cecchi, to launch LPJ’s rst seasonal collection. That same year, the brand hit its global turning point when Mariasole won the Vogue Talents competition for emerging designers.

In 2016, Mariasole was elected by the Business of Fashion as one of the 500 most in uential people in the fashion industry. A designer who doesn’t take herself too seriously, Mariasole continues to playfully surprise and renovate the aesthetics of handbags.
